Ghosts in Seattle in 'Hauntings'

Hauntings is a program that explores the mysterious, creepy, and spiritual. The centerpiece of the program is Stephen McNeffs Ghosts - a nine movement composition, telling the tales of supernatural spirits. Jason Gilliam, euphonium, will be the featured soloist on The Devils Tongue. Other featured composers include Berlioz, Whitacre, Galbraith, and Shostakovich.

Seattle Wind Symphony is a 55-player ensemble dedicated to the presentation of professional quality symphonic wind music to the general public, educators and students. Our program philosophy is to perform time tested, professional and compelling literature that is engaging for both audience and musicians alike. As an audition ensemble we are intentional about providing an opportunity for the finest wind, brass and percussion instrumentalists to perform. Seattle Wind Symphony endeavors to be an instrument of hope for young musicians by modeling high music and performance standards."
