Prepare yourself for an evening of dark, claustrophobic drama retelling the real-life stories of the women who undertook the perilous journey halfway across the globe.

Composed in 2017, Banished follows a group of female convicts on board a ship bound for Van Diemen’s Land in the 1780s.

A truly collaborative project involving students from all over Birmingham City University's Faculty of Arts, Design and Media, we welcome back award-winning director, Daisy Evans.
